Martha Grove Williams grew up in Coconut Grove, Florida and has lived in Wilmington since 1969. A professional painter and portrait artist, the former free-lance commercial artist/designer, received her BFA from Florida State University. Her work in oil, oil on gold leaf, watercolor, monotype, oil sticks, oil pastels, pastel and painted plexiglass has been exhibited in many juried competitions and invitationals, one-woman shows and group exhibitions. She is part of private and corporate collections across the state and along the East Coast.
